Call for Abstracts

Guidelines for authors

Titre 1

The call for abstract is now closed.


The abstract must be submitted by January 14th 2022.



Please indicate the theme of your abstract. This is a no limitative list. Please add if applicable. Added themes must be related to the focus of the congress. 

The abstract I submit is related to (more than one answer option can be chosen): 


  • Pathology: mental health, musculoskeletal diseases, cancer, rare diseases, (chronic) pain;

  • The international classification of Functioning, disability and Health in relation to rehabilitation, return to work, disability management;

  • Functional capacity evaluation;

  • Return to work programs/coordination;

  • Health economics and return to work.

  • COVID-19


Presentation preference

Please indicate your presentation preference : oral or poster or no preference. The scientific committee will decide on presentation design.


Author’s instructions  


  • Title (Max. 150 characters): the title should be as brief as possible but long enough to indicate clearly the nature of your presentation. If you wish to include a subtitle, it must be included in this field and included in the 150 characters limit.

  • The authors' affiliations must be indicated after the title of the abstract (full name, highest degree of education, department, institution, country).

  • Abstract (Max. 2000 characters).

Oral and poster abstracts MUST be structured to include : 


  • Introduction - context

  • Objectives (SMART)

  • Method 

  • Results 

  • Conclusion and policy recommendations


References are not required. If you wish to include them, they must be included in the appendix of your text and excluded in the 2000 characters count. 


Do not use tables or charts. 


Proposed studies/presentations should be at least significantly advanced or completed at the time of submission.

Conflict of interest

Indicate any potential conflicts of interest at the end of your abstract. 



Mention clear who will present in case of acceptance. In case of poster please be aware that poster sessions will be organised so registration of at least one author is required.


Biography (Max 1500 characters)  

Write a 5-10 sentences biography about the presenting author and/or research group. This text will be introduced in the abstract book as written by you.  Please write in the 3rd person.


Author Notification 

Authors will receive notification of acceptance by 14/04/2022.



Abstracts who don’t follow this guidelines will be excluded. 


All selected abstracts will be published in all congress information and will be distributed to all participants (in electronic format or in paper).
